I share the positive things from my week every Friday. This is my third week, and so far I love publishing the positive and feeling like I can let go of the not so great things that happened.
On Sunday I had all kinds of plans to keep on my closet clean out train and tackle the linen closet in our bathroom. It isn’t too bad but needs a little organizing and TLC. I got home from visiting my grandmother and all I felt like doing was curling up on the couch. I battled with myself for a bit and put myself on a half hour deadline to get up and just get it done. That half hour came and went and I decided it was better for my body and mind to just let the plan go and spend my day off actually resting. I’m so glad I did and I went into my Monday with a not so organized linen closet but with a more refreshed mind and body.
Have you ever had a doctor’s appointment go early? Yeah, me either, until Monday. Thank you doctor for your 45 minutes ahead of time appointment. We were able to avoid city traffic and keep our sanity. Just what we needed for a long Monday.
I’m working hard to revamp and get the Online Shop reopened. Hint: that picture above is a little sneak peek. I’m taking my time and designing and building my inventory and I’m really excited about what’s to come. Hoping to reopen mid-February!
On Wednesday Hubs an I had an awesome lunch and movie date day. We went and saw Star Wars in IMAX and had a delicious Carmine’s lunch (thanks Mom and Dad for the Christmas gift cards!). Please don’t kill us, but it was the first time either of us had seen any Star Wars movie. While we weren’t on the complete up and up on what was going on the movie was good and we’re so glad we saw it with the IMAX, 3D experience.
Adele’s Carpool Karaoke on the Late Late Show just made me so happy. I love a down to earth celeb. She sings, she raps, she makes you laugh and she shares about drinking too much wine one night. You have to watch. You won’t be disappointed.
I would love for you to share your own Friday Five! Use #FridayFivewithBecka so we can all celebrate the positive in each other’s weeks.
